Our I MBBS students of 2022 – 2023 Batch participated in zonal level quiz competition conducted by the Department of Biochemistry, Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical college Hospital on 13.09.2023. 4 teams with 3 students in each team participated from our college. The competition conducted as 2 major rounds – preliminary round and final round.

Totally 22 teams from 7 colleges participated in preliminary round and 6 teams got selected for finals. Among the 6 teams, our college team named as THE STOP CODONS – got selected as the first team to enter into the finals. The finals comprised of 5 rounds such as WHO AM I?, CONNEXIONS, DUMSHAREDS, CLINICAL INTERPRETATIONS AND RAPID FIRE.

The team STOP CODONS  with the team members – Mr. DhanushRaam, Mr. Sandramouleeswar, Mr.Dharun Balaji won the first prize and received a cash prize of RS.5000. The competition ended with awarding ceremony and distribution of certificates.
