Clinical Society Meeting was held on 10/03/2022 at Medical Education Unit Academic Session. The meeting was coordinated by the Clinical Society Meeting Coordinator Dr.P.Saravana Kumar, M.S., D.N.B., FIAGES., Department of General Surgery. The meeting started with welcome address by Coordinator, followed by introduction to Clinical Society Meeting its purpose  being spoken by respected Medical Director Dr.K.Prakasam, M.S.,(Ortho)., D.Ortho., D.sc., (Hons).,. The topic was “Management of 4 Months Old Fracture Neck of Femur”. The speaker was Dr.Cheraventhan, M.S(Ortho)., Senior Resident, Department of Orthopaedics who presented the topic nicely. The presentation was followed by discussion and questions from audience and it was very interesting and fruitful. The meeting was attended by Doctors and Nursing Staff from all the Clinical and Non-Clinical Departments. Clinical Society Meeting was held on 19/05/2022 at Medical Education Unit. The topics discussed were “Interesting case of Soft tissue Tumor-Lower Limb”by Dr.TAMILARASAN Senior resident, Department of General Surgery and "CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE Complicating pregnancy - How we managed" by Dr.NIRANJANA Senior resident, Department of General Surgery, Both topics were presented nicely. The presentations were followed by discussion and questions from audience and it was very interesting and fruitful. The meeting was attended by Doctors and Nursing Staff from all the Clinical and Non-Clinical Departments.  Clinical Society Meeting was held on 29/06/2022 between 11.00 AM to 12.00 PM at Medical Education Unit Academic Session. The meeting was coordinated by the Clinical Society Meeting Coordinator Dr.P.Saravana Kumar, M.S., D.N.B., FIAGES., Department of General Surgery. The meeting started with welcome address by Coordinator, followed by introduction to Clinical Society Meeting its purpose  being spoken by respected Medical Director Dr.K.Prakasam, M.S.,(Ortho)., D.Ortho., D.sc., (Hons).,. The topic was “A case of Struma Lymphomatosa”. Presented By Dr.  Mahesh Khanna, M.D (PED)., Senior Resident, Department of Paediatrics followed by “A case of Peripheral Arterial Disease” presented by Dr.Preetti, MD(GM)., Senior Resident, Department of General Medicine.  Both topics were presented nicely. The presentation was followed by discussion and questions from audience and it was very interesting and fruitful. The meeting was attended by Doctors and Nursing Staff from all the Clinical and Non-Clinical Departments. The Clinical Society Meeting for the month of July was conducted on 14/07/2022 ; between 11 am to 12 noon at library hall. The meeting was co-ordinated  by CSM co-ordinator Dr.P.Saravana kumar. This time there were three topics being covered and the following were the presentations;

1) MULTIPLE CRANIAL NERVE PALSY - presented by Dr. K.R. Vaibhavi., M.S      ( ENT ) - SR/Dept. Of ENT.

2) A CASE OF CHILDHOOD OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER –       presented by Dr.E.Dharani . M.D - SR/Dept.of Psychiatry.

3) AN INTERESTING CASE OF ABDOMINAL TUBERCULOSIS - presented by       Dr.P.Saravana Kumar. M.S - AP/Dept.of general surgery.

All the presentations were very much appreciated and applauded by the spectators. There were very useful discussions and questions from the audience… The meeting  was attended by doctors and nursing staff from clinical and non-clinical departments. The CSM was concluded by the final remarks from our beloved Medical Director Dr.K.PRAKASAM  M.S(Ortho)., D.Ortho., D.Sc(Hons).

   The Clinical Society Meeting for the month of august was conducted on 18th August 2022 between 11 am to 12 pm at library hall, Svmch. Two case scenarios were presented and those were the following;

1) A follicular neoplasm of thyroid gland—- presented by Dr.M.Sindhu M.S ( ENT ). Senior Resident, Department of ENT. Followed by

2) A case of Polytrauma with spinal injury—- presented by Dr. Cheraventhan M.S. (Ortho) SR – Department of Orthopaedics.

     Both cases were very well presented. This was followed by discussions and questions from the audience. The meeting was attended by doctors and nursing staff from clinical and non-clinical departments. The CSM was concluded by final remarks from our beloved Medical Director Dr. K. PRAKASAM  M.S(Ortho).,D.Ortho.,Dsc(Hons).

The Clinical Society Meeting (CSM) was conducted in November 18th 2022 between 11 am to 12 noon. The CSM was coordinated by the CSM coordinator Dr.P.Saravana kumar. M.S. There were 3 cases which were presented during the meeting.

1) An uncommon and precarious injury-presented by Dr. Karthikeyan M.S. ortho., from department of orthopedics and

2) Jejuna diverticulosis- an unusual presentation- presented by Dr. P. Saravana Kumar M.S. General surgery., department of general surgery., the case presentations went on very well and was appreciated by all… It was followed by questions and discussions from the audience. The CSM was attended by doctors and nursing staffs from clinical and non-clinical departments…. The CSM was finally concluded by final remarks from our beloved Medical Director Prof. Dr.K. PRAKASAM. The Clinical Society Meeting was conducted on 24th February 2023 between 2 pm to 3 pm at library hall. The meeting was coordinated by CSM coordinator Dr. P. Saravana Kumar M.S. There were 2 cases for presentation this time;

1) Two birds with one stone - presented by Dr. Karthik Kumar M.S Ortho from department of orthopedics.

2) Generalized Exfoliative Dermatitis : a case series of 3 patients - presented by Dr.S.Dharani M.D from department of Dermatology… both cases were well presented and very much appreciated…it was followed by discussions and questions from the audience. The meeting was attended by doctors and staff people from all faculties… The CSM was concluded by final remarks from our beloved Medical Director Prof.Dr.K.PRAKASAM  M.S(Ortho).,D.Ortho.,Dsc(Hons).

2) Peri-Prosthetic fractures - presented by Dr. Karthikeyan M.S., SR,dept of orthopaedics. Both were very well appreciated and presented well. And it was followed by discussions and questions from audience. The meeting was attended by doctors and staff from various faculties….The CSM was concluded by final remarks from our beloved medical director Prof.Dr.K.PRAKASAM sir., M.S (Ortho).,D.Ortho.,Dsc(Hons).
