Swamy Vivekanandha Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (SVMCH & RI)  has been started with people from all walks of life with exceptional healthcare and our  Aim and objective of creating world class health care delivery mechanism and teaching quality medical education on par with other institutions.

I have been working for the past 25 years as an Orthopedic Surgeon in Tamilnadu Government Service, I also worked as Professor and Head of Department for the past 15 Years and also worked as Dean for 2 years.

• Awarded Prestigious Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) D.sc byDr.M.G.R Medical University in 2012by His Excellency Governor of Tamilnadu

• Awarded Best performing Doctor’s award by Govt of Tamilnadu in 2015.
• Served as President of Tamilnadu Medical Council for 10years.

I have been working in this institution and also associated with the management team as Medical Director, closely Supervising the various development activities in this institution, credits goes to "Vidhya Rathna" Professor Dr. M. Karunanithi, B.Pharm., M.S., Ph.D., D.Litt., Chairman and Secretary of this Institution, the man with vision and energy. He has been our leader who is guiding us from the front. His role in leading our Hospital as Doctors, patients, staffs and society friendly is beyond belief..
