Doctor’s Day 2022 celebration was conducted in Swamy Vivekanandha Medical College Hospital And Research Institute at 02.30 PM on 01/07/2022, Tuesday in Library Hall.  The Chief Guest our Honorable Chairman “VidhyaRathna” Professor Dr. M. Karunanithi, B.Pharm.,M.S., Ph.D, Our Medical Director Dr.K.Prakasam,M.S.,D.Ortho., D.sc(Hons)., and our Dean Dr.A.Edwin Joe, M.D., B.L., have inaugurated the function by lighting lamp. Our Medical Superintendent Dr.Manoharan , M.S., Our RAMO Dr. S. Somasundaram, M.S., Our Vice principal Dr.MilindV.Bhutkar M.D.,and HODs, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, SRs, JRs of all Departments, Medical Staff and I MBBS students have attended the function. Few fellow young doctors were given BEST DOCTOR Award from the hands of our Honourable Chairman as an appreciation for their continuous hardwork and as a motivation to other doctors of our institution.

Prakasam, MS (Ortho).,D.Ortho., D.sc(Hons).,felicitated the gathering and briefly explained about the history of Doctor’s day celebration to our I MBBS Students. Our Honorable Chairman “VidhyaRathna” Professor Dr. M. Karunanithi, B.Pharm., M.S., Ph.D extended his warm greetings to all the doctors and  he expressed his desire to the students that they should bring global reputation to this institution with their hard work and sincerity. The celebration was followed by cake cutting. The function concluded with the vote of thanks by Professor Dr. Milind V.BhutkarM.D., Vice Principal of Swamy Vivekanandha Medical College Hospital and Research Institute.
