CRESCENDO’23  - the 1st Annual College day celebrations was held on  23.06.2023. The Sports & Cultural events for the 1st and 2nd  MBBS Students were organized and conducted with Off stage events  from 28.04.23 to 06.05.23 & On stage events from 10.05.23 to 12.05.23.

Sports day was celebrated on 22.06.23 and the function was presided by our Chief Guest, Honorable Chairman Vidhya Rathna Prof.Dr.M.KARUNANITHI,B.Pharm.,M.S.,Ph.D.,D.Litt.,Chairman & secretary. Medals & Trophies were distributed to the winners & runner up for all sports events .

1st Annual College day was celebrated on 23.06.2023. The function started with the presence of honourable Chief Guest Dr.Sudha Seshayyan, Former Vice chancellor, Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. The function was presided by Honorable Chairman Vidhya Rathna Prof .Dr.M.KARUNANITHI,B.Pharm.,M.S.,Ph.D.,D.Litt., Chairman & secretary.

Welcome address was given by the our Dean Dr.Edwin Joe.,M.D.,BL. Vice Principal   I/C Dr.Dhanasekaran, M.D., submitted the annual day report of the college for the year 2022-2023. Felicitation address were given by Mr.M.Chokkalingam,M.Sc., B.Ed., Chief Executive Officer , Dr.K.Krupanithi, M.D., Vice Chairman and Dr. Arthanareeswaran, M.D., Joint Managing Director.

Special address was delivered by Prof.Dr.K.Prakasam M.S.,D.Ortho.,D.Sc(Hons)., explaining the good infra structure and the facilities available in the institution. Special appreciations were given to the Pre Clinical Department HODs, Teachers & Students for achieving 100% results in their University Examination for I MBBS 2021-2022 Batch .

The Chief Guest Dr.Sudha seshayyan, Former Vice Chancellor, Tamil Nadu  Dr.MGR Medical University distributed the Academic Excellence award for the College topper Miss.Hasna Nazem, for her performance scoring top in over all subjects in the University Exam.

The Trophy was awarded under the name of Madam Chairman Mrs.Krishnaveni Karunanithi, M.A. The chief guest delivered a motivation speech, requesting students to participate in all academic and extra curricular activities and do not refuse their responsibilities. As a happy note, she congradulated all I MBBS students of 2021-2022 Batch students for their academic excellence with 100% result in their university exam and created a good name in the history of Vivekanandha institutions. Distribution of over all trophy for the Sports & Cultural events was presided by our Chief guest .

Chairman released our college Magazine “Yazhli”and the first copy was received by our Honorable Chief Guest. Cultural awards were distributed by Chairman to all winners.

Chairman on his presidential address appreciated and honored the Heads of Pre-clinical Departments of Anatomy, Physiology & Biochemistry for achieving 100% results of 1st Batch of I MBBS in the university exam for the year 2021-2022 .

He also appreciated the Administrative heads of the Medical Institution, The Medical Director, Dean, RAMO, MS & VP for their constant support and guidance for the same.

The function was a grand success and ended  with the Vote of thanks by Vice Principal I/C Dr.Dhanasekaran.
