Darknet market status

Current operational status for all tracked markets. Last manual check: April 28, 2026 — 03:00 UTC.

Status is determined by testing primary and mirror .onion addresses through Tor. A market is marked online if at least one verified mirror responds. Intermittent means some mirrors respond while others don't, or the site loads inconsistently. Offline means zero mirrors responded during testing.

Is a market down or is it you?

Before assuming a market is offline, check these common issues:

Mirror rotation. The .onion address you bookmarked may have been rotated. Markets change their addresses regularly. Check the market's page on our site for current verified mirrors.
Tor circuit issues. Your current Tor circuit may have a slow or unresponsive relay. Click the lock icon in the URL bar and select "New Circuit for this Site." Wait 10-15 seconds and try again.
DDoS attacks. Markets are frequently targeted by DDoS attacks that make them unreachable for hours or days. The market itself is still running — the attack is overwhelming the .onion address. Try a different mirror or wait.
System clock. If your computer's clock is significantly off, Tor cannot build valid circuits. Check your system time and enable automatic time synchronization.
Network-level blocks. If your ISP or network blocks Tor, you won't be able to connect to any .onion address. Enable a bridge (obfs4 or snowflake) in Tor Browser's connection settings.

What "offline" actually means

When a market goes offline, the cause is usually one of four things: DDoS attack (temporary, hours to days), server maintenance (temporary, usually announced on Dread), law enforcement seizure (permanent), or exit scam (permanent).

A market being down for a few hours is normal. Down for a day is concerning. Down for multiple days with no communication from the operators on Dread is a red flag. If a market has been offline for more than a week and the operators have gone silent, there is a real possibility it will not come back.

We do not speculate on the reasons for downtime. We report observable status: did the .onion address respond during our last check? If you need real-time updates from market operators, check their profiles on Dread.

How we check status

Each market is tested by connecting to its primary and mirror .onion addresses through Tor Browser. We load the login page and verify that the site responds with a valid page. We do not log in or interact with market accounts during testing. Status is checked manually — this is not automated monitoring, so there may be delays between a market going down and our page reflecting that.

Status questions

As of our last check (April 28, 2026 at 03:00 UTC), TorZon is online and responding on all verified mirrors. If you can't reach it, try a different mirror from the TorZon page or request a new Tor circuit.
Nexus Market is online as of our last check. If you're having trouble connecting, verify you have current .onion addresses from the Nexus page. Old mirrors may have been rotated.
Black Ops is online as of our last check. The market has experienced brief DDoS-related outages in recent weeks but has recovered each time. Current mirrors are on the Black Ops page.
During our last test, one of Catharsis's mirrors responded while another timed out. This can happen due to DDoS activity targeting specific mirrors, or during the market's mirror rotation process. The Catharsis page has all current addresses.
We check market status manually at least once every 24-48 hours. During major outages or notable events, we check more frequently. The timestamp at the top of the page shows when the last check was performed.
