About SVMCHRI

An independent verification project. We confirm that darknet market .onion links are authentic using PGP cryptographic signatures.

What this project does

SVMCHRI maintains a directory of darknet market links that have been verified through PGP signature validation. Each .onion address published on this site has been checked against the market operator's PGP-signed mirror list. If the cryptographic signature is valid, the address is authentic. If it fails or is absent, we do not publish it.

We also publish educational guides on Tor Browser configuration, PGP verification procedures, operational security, and cryptocurrency privacy. These guides exist to reduce the number of users who fall victim to phishing — which remains the most common way people lose funds and accounts on darknet markets.

We track confirmed phishing domains, report on the current state of darknet markets, and maintain a status page reflecting whether each tracked market is currently accessible.

Verification methodology

Our link verification follows a consistent, documented process. Every address published on this site goes through these steps:

1
Key acquisition. We obtain the market's PGP public key from their login page (accessed through a previously verified address), their Dread profile, or both. When possible, we cross-reference the key fingerprint across multiple independent sources.
2
Signature verification. We verify the PGP-signed message containing the market's official .onion addresses against the imported public key. The verification is performed using gpg --verify on an air-gapped workstation. A "Good signature" result from a key whose fingerprint we have independently confirmed constitutes a verified address.
3
Connectivity test. We connect to each verified .onion address through Tor Browser, confirm that the site responds with a valid page, and note whether the address is a primary or mirror endpoint.
4
Publication. Verified addresses are published on the corresponding market page along with the full PGP-signed mirror block, allowing users to independently repeat the verification using our PGP verification guide.
5
Re-verification. Addresses are re-verified periodically and whenever a market announces a mirror rotation. The "Verified" timestamp on each market page reflects the date of the most recent verification pass.

Editorial standards

Content on SVMCHRI follows these principles:

Factual accuracy. We publish verifiable information. Market descriptions include listing counts, supported cryptocurrencies, operational history, and security features. We do not publish rumors, speculation, or unverified claims about market operators.
No endorsements. We do not recommend one market over another. Market pages present factual data — listing counts, accepted currencies, launch dates, security features — so users can form their own assessment. We do not rank markets, publish "best darknet market" lists, or express preference for any platform.
Transparency on limitations. We are transparent about what we verify and what we don't. PGP verification confirms that addresses were published by the key holder — it does not guarantee the market is trustworthy, well-managed, or free from law enforcement operation. We state this clearly.
Regular updates. Content is reviewed and updated when market conditions change: mirror rotations, new phishing domains, status changes, and significant ecosystem events. Each page includes a last-updated timestamp.

Independence

SVMCHRI is not operated by, funded by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any darknet market. We do not accept payments from market operators in exchange for listing their platform, promoting their service, or modifying our content. We do not run affiliate links or receive commissions on market transactions.

This independence is foundational to the project's credibility. A verification service that accepts money from the entities it verifies cannot be trusted to verify objectively. We maintain separation between this project and every market we cover.

The project is self-funded and does not run advertising.

What we do not do

For clarity, SVMCHRI does not:

Facilitate transactions. We do not sell products, process payments, hold escrow, or participate in any marketplace activity.
Provide legal advice. Our content is informational. It is not legal guidance. Laws regarding darknet markets and related activities vary by jurisdiction.
Guarantee market trustworthiness. Verifying that a .onion address is authentic confirms authorship. It does not guarantee the market's integrity, solvency, or intentions. Markets have exit scammed in the past despite maintaining valid PGP signatures until the day they disappeared.
Operate any darknet service. SVMCHRI is a clearnet website. We do not operate .onion addresses, hidden services, or any Tor-based infrastructure.

Contact and reporting

To report a phishing domain, a broken link, or an error in our content, contact us through verified channels on Dread. We review all reports and update our content when warranted.

We do not provide support for individual market accounts, transaction disputes, or vendor issues. Those matters should be directed to the market's own support system.

Technical details

This site is static HTML with no server-side processing, user tracking, cookies, or analytics. We do not log visitor IP addresses. The site does not execute JavaScript on load — the theme toggle and FAQ accordions use minimal client-side JavaScript that runs only after user interaction. No third-party scripts are loaded except Google Fonts.

The source content is authored by the SVMCHRI team. All PGP verifications are performed independently. Market descriptions are based on publicly observable information — listing counts, interface features, cryptocurrency support, and operational history documented through community sources and direct observation.
