The Department of Paediatrics is the branch of medicine that deals with medical care of infants, children and adolescents. The department is primarily concerned with the delivery of affordable healthcare to children, and to train competent, compassionate and caring physician through excellence in teaching, patient care and medical research.

The department is providing regular OPD & IPD services, emergency & Pediatrics and critical care services, newborn care & Immunization services. OPD services include specialty clinics like Pediatric nephrology, Pediatric asthma, Pediatric neurology & rehabilitation, Thalassemia, Pediatric hematology oncology, Pediatric gastroenterology & diarrhea, Neonatology (including high risk newborn & well baby clinics), Pediatric cardiology, Pediatric endocrinology, and Child guidance clinic.
