The Department of Ophthalmology at SVMCH&RI is at the forefront of teaching the principles and art of Ophthalmology to educate the medical students. Department is well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and highly experienced medical team. The department caters to provide high quality eye care. The department is also providing with regular surgical interventions in cataract, glaucoma, oculoplasty, squint and retina. The staff of Ophthalmology is actively involved in developing integrated ophthalmic care, catering to patients through various camps. Apart from basic ophthalmology equipment like A-scans, the department also features lasers, perimetry, B-scan and fundus camera.
