INAUGURATION :
The program was headed by the Chief Guest “VIDHYA RATHNA’ PROF.DR.M.KARUNANITHI, B.Pharm, M.S., Ph.D., D.Litt., Chairman and Secretary”, who inaugurated the function by lighting the holy lamp along with all distinguished guests.

The event began with a soulful welcome address by Prof.Dr.M.Sumathi, M.Sc.,(N), Ph.D., who highlighted the significance of the day and paid tribute to the tireless efforts of nurses. She emphasized how nurses not only provide clinical care but also emotional strength and support to patients and families during the most challenging times of their lives.

Their contribution is central to every department—from surgery and critical care to community health and he urged nurses to continue being proactive leaders in health promotion, patient safety, and quality improvement.
